Canyoning, an exhilarating adventure sport that combines hiking, climbing, and swimming through stunning natural landscapes, has made its mark in Georgia since its introduction in 2017. Spearheaded by the Georgian Canyoning Team, we were the pioneers in this thrilling activity, bringing a new dimension of adventure to the region.
The Journey Begins
In 2017, the Georgian Canyoning Team embarked on a mission to explore the breathtaking canyons of Georgia. As the first team to operate in this sport, we laid the groundwork for what would become a rapidly growing adventure tourism sector. Our passion for the outdoors and commitment to safety and quality set us apart from the very beginning.
Training with Experts
In 2018, we took our expertise to the next level by completing training with the prestigious German team from the CIC Canyoning Federation. This partnership allowed us to enhance our skills, learn best practices, and ensure that we could provide the highest level of safety and enjoyment for our canyoning enthusiasts.
Expanding Horizons: New Canyons in Western Georgia
By 2019, we began actively opening and bolting new canyons in Western Georgia. Why Western Georgia, you might ask? The answer lies in its unique geography. This region is blessed with numerous mountain rivers and limestone formations, making it an ideal location for canyoning. The combination of stunning landscapes and challenging terrains offers adventurers an unforgettable experience.
Our Commitment to Safety and Quality
We pride ourselves on offering our customers the highest safety standards, high-quality gear, and certified guides. Each canyon we explore is carefully selected to cater to different skill levels, ensuring that everyone can find an adventure suited to their abilities.
Exploring the Canyons
As of now, we have successfully opened over 10 canyons across various regions, including:
ImereTi
Samegrelo
Racha-Lechkhumi
Adjara
Upper Svaneti (starting in 2025)
Each canyon offers its own unique challenges and breathtaking views, ensuring that adventurers of all levels can find something to suit their taste.
