Day 1: Extreme Canyoning in Dzmuisi

• Route: Kutaisi – Dzmuisi Canyon – Shaori Lake

• Activity: Canyoning in Dzmuisi Canyon. Dive into wild nature featuring 13 stunning waterfalls. Activities include rappelling down cliffs with ropes, jumping, and sliding into deep, crystal-clear natural pools (all conducted with professional gear and certified guides).

• Overnight: Cozy cottage by the shores of Shaori Lake.

Day 2: Tskhrajvari Views & Rafting on the Rioni River

• Route: Shaori – Nakerala Pass (Tskhrajvari) – Rioni River – Ambrolauri

• Activity:

  • A short but breathtaking hike up the Nakerala Pass to the mystical Tskhrajvari Shrine, offering a spectacular panoramic view over the Imereti region.

  • Rafting Tour on the Rioni River: An exhilarating 11-kilometer rafting adventure on one of Georgia’s most powerful and scenic rivers.

• Overnight: Guesthouse in Ambrolauri (enjoying authentic Racha hospitality and local wine).

Day 3: The Legendary Black Lake (Udziro Lake)

• Route: Ambrolauri – Glola – Udziro Lake – Glola/Ambrolauri

• Activity: Intensive Hiking Day (15 km). A trek into the alpine zone to visit the breathtaking Udziro (Bottomless) Lake, where the massive peaks of the Caucasus Mountains reflect like a mirror on the water's surface. This is one of Racha’s most iconic and emotionally rewarding hiking trails.

• Overnight: Guesthouse in Racha.

Day 4: Wild Road to Svaneti (The Day of High Passes)

• Route: Racha – Orbeli Pass – Lentekhi – Zagaro Pass – Ushguli

• Activity: An unforgettable Off-road (4x4) Journey. We will drive through the strikingly beautiful and wild Orbeli and Zagaro passes, crossing from Lower Svaneti into Upper Svaneti to reach Ushguli—one of the highest continuously inhabited settlements in Europe.

• Overnight: Guesthouse in Ushguli (surrounded by medieval defensive towers).

Day 5: The Majesty of Shkhara Glacier

• Route: Ushguli – Shkhara Glacier – Ushguli Lake – Mestia

• Activity: Hike toward the glacier of Mount Shkhara (5,193 m), the highest peak in Georgia, and visit Ushguli Lake. In the evening, we transfer to the central hub of Upper Svaneti—Mestia.

• Overnight: Hotel in Mestia.

Day 6: Treasures of Mestia & Sunset at Koruldi Lakes

• Route: Mestia – Koruldi Lakes – Mestia

• Activity:

  • A visit to the Mestia Ethnographic Museum, home to unique medieval icons, manuscripts, and masterpieces of Georgian goldsmithing.

  • In the afternoon, a 4x4 Jeep Tour up to the alpine Koruldi Lakes. We will catch the sunset at 2,700 meters above sea level, surrounded by unparalleled views of Mount Ushba, Tetnuldi, and Laila.

• Overnight: Hotel in Mestia.

Day 7: The Giant Shdugra Waterfall & Mystic Ushba

• Route: Mestia – Becho Village – Shdugra Waterfall – Becho

• Activity: A hike to the Shdugra Waterfalls, one of the highest and most powerful waterfalls in Georgia. The trail winds through lush pine forests and alpine meadows, offering striking views of the legendary, double-peaked Mount Ushba.

• Overnight: Guesthouse in Becho.

Day 8: The Grandeur of Enguri Dam, Thermal Springs & Return

• Route: Becho – Enguri Dam – Nokalakevi – Kutaisi

• Activity:

  • A stop at the Enguri Arch Dam, one of the highest concrete arch dams in the world.

  • Relaxation at the Nokalakevi Hot Sulfur Springs—the perfect way to soothe your muscles and unwind after a 7-day active trekking tour.

  • Drive back to Kutaisi and end of the tour.
